Puppy
Micky is Director of Corporate Fun. He joined Magellan's Law in 2008 as a Rescue Dog.
Jane adopted Micky from the Animal Welfare Society of Bandera County, Texas on July 19, 2008. He was about three months old at the time, so he's technically no longer a puppy, but he's still the official company puppy.
Micky was very sick as a young puppy, and his original family left him at the vet to be euthanized. The vet couldn't bring himself to do it, however, so he treated Micky at his own expense, keeping him at the office on an IV until he was healthy enough to go home with a foster family.
When Jane picked him up from the foster family, Micky was tiny and still had a bald spot on his right foreleg from the IV. Since then, he's become stronger and healthier and is now a confident, playful, happy puppy.
Although he has his own, private space, Micky can usually be found sleeping in Jane's office or chasing a ball in Jim's.
